i have been dying my hair platinium blonde but would like to dye it brown any ideas????

sorry dear but you don't have a choice about the red , you have to put the red back into your hair otherwise you will go green,

there is a co lour made by matrix called colour sync which you can put straight over you hair back to brown without the red but you can only get this colour done by the professionals as this colour is only sold to salons and can not be bought in the shops but not alot of salons use them if you do find a salon you wont the g range these are all the browns that can be put over without the red , i use them in my salon and there lovely. other than thay if you cant find them then a chestnut is your only hope put that on then in a week or so do it again after a few weeks the red starts to wash away then when it comes to do your colour again you can just put the brown on . good luck and try find the shop that uses the matrix colour sync first.

best bet is to go to a hairdresser and ask for advise.

They will know what colour to put on striaght away, to get the best colour you want.

By using cool tones such as ash on neutral. When buying a new hair color look for words such as: ash, cool etc. It will neutralize the red and golden undertones.

hi, ok first of all, to save you a potential home disaster, please do not colour your own hair, especially since u are going so drastic.. most blondes going from blonde to brown get very shocked. You should fist go to a hairsalon, try either doing alot of brown lowlights that means dark pieces in your hair, or u can get a dark base colour with a little bit of blonde highlites.. but whatever u do, don't colour your own hair.. u will get either a ugly mousy brown on your own, or even a green tone.. goodluck
