My hair is black under neath and red on top but i can't get the black out no matter what i do i

Hunny. All that repeatedly dying your hair is doing is damaging it. I'm not sure why you want to change it, it sounds cute! Anyways, try Raw White-Out Bleach Kit from Hot Topic. It's only $12.99. It'll turn your hair white, kind of like Gered Way of My Chemical Romance, depending on how long you leave it on. But, it'll give you a good base to start on. Also, make sure you wait awhile after bleaching it to re-dye it. Hair is fragile, bleaching is harsh on hair, %26amp; it sounds like yours might be a bit damaged already. Also, mosturize your hair! It'll help repair the damage. I put the direct link to it at the bottom so you can check it out.

In order to get the black out you will have to bleach it . A regular dye will not change it . Bleach the roots , but try not to make it sit too long or you will end up very blonde. Once its bleached to your likings then you dye the whole thing

Black and Red are the hardest colors to get out of your hair! Especially if it was a metallic dye such as Ferria.

You will probably have to bleach your hair several times, be prepared for head to burn if you aren't careful, and then put a toner on your hair after wards, due to the gold/blonde color. My daughter dyed her hair black and after we tried and $75 later I still had to take her to a salon which cost me another $100.

There really is no option to get out the black, it just has to fade out. If you bleached it, depending on the base you used, your hair could turn blue or red. As for the red you have now it will fade rather quickly, but I'm afraid the black will just have to fade out, there is nothing you can really do about it.

please do not bleach it. you will end up with VERY orange hair or worse, fried and broken hair. You can buy color remover at sally or any supply house{sally is open to the public} you will have to watch it closely so that it doesnt get too light or it will also dry your hair. When the black gets to one shade lighter than the red it is time to take it off. After rinsing apply your shade of red to the back for about 15-20 minutes then pull it through the rest of your hair for 5 more minutes. rinse and condition well !!
