I am very interested in genetics, but have found the information on hair colour quite confusing!! I was born with dark brown hair that changed to light brown %26amp; have freckles, and my partner was born with white blonde hair that has now gone light brown and he has blue eyes. His mum is polish and has blonde hair and blue eyes and his dad has brown hair and blue eyes. My mum has light brown hair and green eyes and my dad has black hair with reddish tinge in his beard and green eyes. My sister has red hair. Does anyone know what colour hair my baby may have or how I can work it out?

It's really hard to say. My boyfriend has 2 daughters from a previous marriage. He has dark brown hair w/ (as weird as it is) a red mustache and beard and his ex has brown hair. Their 5 yr old started out with blond hair that turned brown around age 2, their 2 1/2 yr old has blond hair, that doesn't look like it's changing any time soon. I have dark brown hair and my son (my boyfriend is the father) was born with dark brown hair that turned to light reddish blond. It's really hard to tell what will happen.

it could range anywhere from black with hints of red to the light brown of your hubby....in general the male genetics are dominant. SO in all likelihood the baby will have light brown/ blonde hair and blue eyes.
